New Template

It’s that once yearly time where I get tired of the layout I have and switch to an entirely different one.

This one finally cures something that’s always bothered me immensely about most MT themes – the artificial 500px content boundary. I’m sure 500px is great for keeping people focused on text, but it’s horrible if you want to post a picture with reasonable size.

This theme is “[darkhash](http://www.thestylecontest.com/designs/hash)”, with a couple tweaks to fit my overly particular nature. It’s my vote to win the [MT/LJ/TypePad Style Contest](http://www.thestylecontest.com/).

Some content has settled in transit and may be missing for the time being; it’ll be back soon, I promise.

UPDATE: I’ve ungimped the comment form, upped the font size to make the pages easier to read, increased the width a little, replaced a handful of icons, and added a tag cloud to the archives page. I appreciate the feedback I’ve gotten and certainly won’t mind getting more.

Red Flags

Normally, when I drive myself near the point of exhaustion, my body develops a sharp ache in one spot of my body. Previous manifestations have included my back, portions of my mouth, and my foot. It almost always passes in a day or two.

This time is a little different. I have dull pain system-wide: shoulder, both knees, neck. I had what felt like a pulled muscle for about one hour today – limited to just that hour. I have, during more than one evening in the last week, felt light headed.

I am going to attempt to slow things down a bit for the remainder of the week; being already behind on personal obligations, this makes me feel even worse. Hampering things further is the recent weird shorting out of my Sidekick 2, which I’m trying to resolve without having to flat out buy a new one. So if I owe you anything – money, source code, Pop’n 12 support on PNN, DVDs or other media I’ve borrowed and still neglected to return – bear with me just through this weekend. It’ll all happen soon, I promise.

Linkblog Rolled Back Into Blog Posts

I’ve decided to once again re-roll my del.icio.us link blog back into my daily blog postings and pull it off the sidebar. This way, maybe people will actually read it. (God forbid!)
