That’s It, Essentially

All three of my finals are complete. All that remains is a redo of a programming assignment, and another programming assignment. I will be done done on Wednesday. I even managed to get an A+ on a music paper I hacked out in a night. Go me.
Order went in for my graduation gift today – my parents are extremely nice people. :) One half of it is in my hot little hand – a spiffy 5 GB iPod – and the other half comes in next week, which I’m sure to document fully when it gets here.
New nifty addition – current playing iTunes track on the bar on the right side! Woo!
That’s about it, really.

Day Of The Slope

This is one of those posts I write now and then to kick the news further down the page. Yay.
Anyhow, today is Slope Day – that beautiful day where just under 10000 Cornell students blow off classes and get hammered on Libe Slope. If you’re in the mood to watch the festivities, check out the CU Webcam, which may very well be replacing my own for a day.
As you’ve probably not noticed, my cata list has moved to a separate page, and has been replaced by a final list of things happening here at Cornell. Watch as I apply the strikethrough tag in a seemingly random order!
Kate is up for the weekend, after I was down at her house last week. It’s very nice to get to see each other more than once a month, let me tell YOU what. By the way, for those people who are still confused – we’re not married yet. The wedding is still 4 months off. Thanks for asking, though.
Next week will be killer – final paper in ComLit due Wednesday, 482 final Thursday, Music and Econ finals on Friday. Hopefully I can live through it and maybe find a job to boot.
Till next time.

Tweaks Up The Wazoo

Changes to note to the website:
– Dan and Kate’s Diary has been vicitimized by Natural Selection, and have been replaced by a more complete archive of concert logs. More will be coming when I have more time. Most important, of course, is the STP review, which (if you need advertising to click my links) is probably the best concert I’ve worked.
– Archives for the last 6 months are up.
– Logo at the top has changed. Note that if you don’t have CSS enabled, you’re not viewing the page I want you too. Also, if you’re using OmniWeb, it’s anti-aliasing everything, and I don’t want it doing that either.
My next month will be extremely hectic, and no, I still don’t have a job (crossing my fingers, though). My Apple CRT monitor burned out, so I’m using a replacement for now. Going to Katie’s on Friday, and she’ll be up for Slope Day a week later. Oh, and you all absolutely must see Battle Royale now.
