God Of War

## [US lags in propaganda war: Rumsfeld](http://go.reuters.com/newsArticle.jhtml?type=topNews&storyID=11258249&src=rss/topNews)

> NEW YORK (Reuters) – The United States lags dangerously behind al Qaeda and other enemies in getting out information in the digital media age and must update its old-fashioned methods, Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld said on Friday.

> Modernization is crucial to winning the hearts and minds of Muslims worldwide who are bombarded with negative images of the West, Rumsfeld told the Council on Foreign Relations.

> The Pentagon chief said today’s weapons of war included e-mail, Blackberries, instant messaging, digital cameras and Web logs, or blogs.

E-mail? More accounts than I can remember.

Blackberries? I’ve got a Sidekick, close enough.

Instant messaging? Four accounts – oh yeah, and I set up the IM server at work.

Digital cameras? Three if you count the cameraphone, two otherwise.

Blogs? Check.

Who knew I was such a warmonger?

WHY, EUGENE, WHY?

(For those who didn’t understand this: [Eugene Mirman](http://www.eugenemirman.com/) is a terribly funny stand-up comedian – one of my absolute favorites in the city. He, for some reason, is in this clip as the suspected arsonist.)

DJ Max

Like many others around the globe, I am completely enthralled with the recent release of Pentavision’s [DJ Max](http://www.play-asia.com/SOap-23-83-iff-71-bj-49-en-84-j-70-15ww.html) for the PSP. It is a solid recreation of my much beloved Beatmania series, except perfectly adapted for a portable. It has over 50 tracks (many of which are surprisingly good), a metric ton of things to unlock, and a nice steady difficulty curve.

If you own a PSP, you owe it to yourself to pick this up. And if you have already picked it up – or even if you haven’t and just want more information – I’ve started work on translating as much info about the game as I can and slapping it on my wiki. Contributions are always welcome. You can read the info at:

If you don’t have a PSP, don’t fret: Beatmania’s US release for the PS2 is just over a month away. And if you want to learn more about that, why, there’s a [wiki page](https://vjarmy.com/wiki/index.php/CS_USA) for that too!
