I’m flipping through the script to the now shitcanned Reagans miniseries, and I just came across this during the debate with Carter section.
REAGAN: Just ask yourself this: are you better off than you were 4 years ago? Is our economy better than it was 4 years ago? Is America as strong and respect as it was 4 years ago? If your answer to these questions is yes, then it’s obvious who you should vote for. But if you don’t think the course we’ve been on for the last 4 years is the one we should follow for the next 4…then I could suggest another choice that you have.
