I mentioned Anil’s nice write-up about NYC earlier, but this was too amusing not to mention:
Katie and I were walking to the subway after the showing tonight of Melvin Goes To Dinner, and we passed a guy facing into a phone booth.
He leans back, and I quote:
“THAT’S WHUT I LOVE ABOUT NEW YOK CITY, YOU CAN PISS WHEREVAH THA FUCK YA WANT TO.”
I did not look to confirm his statement, before you ask.
This is 8th St., between 3rd and Broadway, for the record. Right near the fated Astor Place K-Mart. Maybe it’s actually a hellmouth.

For those of you in the city with little to do tonight, I’ll be demoing a lot of Freeverse’s recent titles at the Apple Store in SoHo at 6:45 PM.
