Pop’n Best Hits

Got my hands on Pop’n Music Best Hits today.
Thoughts:

  • Good god, this game is cute.
  • Good lord, how am I supposed to play 9-line with a Dual Shock?
  • Right, that was miserable, I’ll stick to 5-line.
  • The music, which I wasn’t much of a fan of just listening to the OSTs, is a lot better when you’re actually playing this.
  • I really need a PNM controller for this.

And I promise those of you that have no idea what I’m talking about, all will be explained soon.
Small update: I’ve finally got scores in for 5-line Internet Ranking after one pass through the expert courses. There’s a link at the top of the page that’ll stay there for the next month. I’m currently #58, and hailing from Okinawa prefecture!

Fluid

I’m currently going all blurry-eyed and “Wow”-like over a screensaver.
But hey, it’s not every day you see a Rendezvous-enabled fluid dynamics-based screen saver – and an absolutely gorgeous one at that.
Mac OS X users are urged to download immediately.

Peter Cohen’s snappy summary (bacon not required but considered useful)
I’m even more interested in the next version of iTunes now. Although I *hope* this doesn’t spoil the Rendezvous support that’s been promised for, what, 9 months now?
