  • Released: September 7, 2005
  • First appearance of Super Challenge Mode.
  • First game to go online with Net Mode against human players.
  • First AC game that tells you when you cleared a song via medals.
  • First appearance of character change (?).
  • First appearance of the Random and Bemani categories in the sorting selection (AC, CS, Secret, etc.).
  • Enjoy Mode screen now extend the five buttons on the screen when playing it on 5-Line, making them easier to read. You are also now given a short tutorial of how to play prior to playing a song.
  • First appearance of Sota Fujimori and Yoshitaka Nishimura (DJ YOSHITAKA) in the series.
  • This marks Hirofumi Sasaki's first new (and only) song appearance since Guitar Freaks 10th mix / drummania 9th mix.
  • Theme: circus.
  • First game in the series where every song has a 9-line, HYPER, AND EX notechart.
