Hair Nets, Paper Hats, and Tooth Holes
So I'm finally back to a day job: Deli at the Irond. Wegmans. And of course when I started they were out of black hats (hats are required in that area) so I have been forced to wear the stylish paper hat the last week. And of course since the paper hats don't cover my major hair right now I've also been forced to wear a hair net. And boy, can I tell you I look hot in that hair net and paper hat!
In other news, my mouth wounds have pretty well healed at this point. I can still feel the stiches in the one, but the others are pretty well gone and I'm back onto solid foods. And for the record, my experience with wisdom teeth removal was not nearly as bad as some people have made it out to be. I was sore the first day or so, and it was a hassle not being able to really eat, but it never hurt that much (although I did have chimpmunk cheeks for a couple days).
But now comes the weirdest twist of all. After I lost about 15 pounds in China, I gained back about 5-10 of that. Then recently I started to put the remaining 5-10 on as well. I figured that I would lose some of that once I had my teeth out and wasn't allowed to really eat, but ironically I actually gained about another couple pounds on my diet of jello, applesauce, and soup. It wasn't until I got back onto regular food that I managed to drop about 10 pounds (in about the last 4 or 5 days). How? I don't know. My only guess is that I've been more active with work and haven't had as much time to just sit around and eat.
So to sum up...
-Back to work
-Back to eating
-Back to post China weight
