Just bought my first batch of music off the iTunes Music Store. The new Guster album, which won’t actually hit the stores for another two weeks or so, was too great to pass up, as was the album version of Five Fathoms by Everything But The Girl. I’ll do a proper review of the Guster album soon; I’m really impressed at the buying and download. Very seamless. Kudos again, Apple.

IBC’s total includes a figure of at least 3,240 civilian deaths published this week by the Associated Press news agency, which was based on a survey of 60 Iraqi hospitals from March 20 to April 20, when the fighting was declining.
And while that’s the lowball confirmed number (if it rises to 10,000, that certainly doesn’t hurt my point)…doesn’t that mean that more civilians were killed than were in 9/11, where the death toll just ended slightly under 3,000? Good thing our war was “justified”, right? An aside: The web needs better support for air quotes.
